MATCHUP SUMMARY
The big story this season for the WFT is the severe underwhelming defense that was highly touted and regarded during the preseason. Taylor Heinicke has looked OK during his short tenure as the QB1 here but really laid an egg last week. This seems to be a great spot for him to get back on track versus this floundering Falcons team at only 5.9K. Terry Mclaurin is just a beast and should get 10+ targets in this game. I would expect a big game for him here. This sets up perfectly for Antonio Gibson to finally have his coming-out party. At only 6.1K, he should see 15+ carries as well as getting a TD or 2.
The Falcons are coming off their first win of the season, and look to maintain momentum going forward. This is a pass-heavy offense here facing a very underwhelming defense. Matt Ryan is only $5,400 and should have a top 10 QB week here. Calvin Ridley already has 29 targets thru the first 3 games and I expect a 10+ target day here. The STUD rookie TE Kyle Pitts has yet to have his coming-out party, but this could be it this week. The WFT defense is giving up a ton of catches in the middle of the field and that bodes well here. Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis are basically RB1A/B in this offense and both are very viable this week at only 5.1K and 4.9K.
THE DFS GEMS
Matt Ryan, ATL – $5,400 on DraftKings. Think he is a bit too cheap here. Has 25+ DK point upside.
Kyle Pitts, ATL – $5,000 on DraftKings. Could be his coming out party facing this underwhelming defense.
Terry McClaurin, WFT – $6,900 on Draftkings. Great runback in Falcons stacks.
Calvin Ridley, ATL – $7,000 on Draftkings. Use these 4 in a full game stack. Target monster.
