MATCHUP SUMMARY
Washington has now lost 3 of their last 4 games and only sits at 2-4 for thru 6 games. The offense underperformed last week only gaining 274 total yards vs one of the worst defenses in the league. Antonio Gibson was injured during last week’s game and will need to be monitored. JD McKissic saw 8 carries to Patterson’s 1 after Gibson left. McKissic could be in a great spot vs the Packers as they should be playing from behind. McKissic caught 8 passes on 10 targets last week to lead the team in receiving yards. Ricky Seals-Jones continues to be the main focus point in this offense seeing 6 targets, catching 4 for 58 yards, and a touchdown. McLaurin had a down game only catching 4 of his 8 targets for 28 yards and is in a great bounce-back spot here as the Packers are without top CB Alexander.
Green Bay still owns the Bears as Aaron Rodgers put it winning 24-14. Rodgers was quite effective completing 17 of his 23 attempts for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns. Top target Davante Adams caught 4 passes for 89 yards. Aaron Jones averaged just under 6 yards per carry, rushing for 76 yards on 13 carries. Jones also added in 34 yards and a touchdown off 4 catches out of the backfield. The Packers should have their way with this struggling Washington Football Team. I look for Adams to “bounce back” as he only scored 12 fantasy points. The last 6 times he scored under 20 fantasy points he came back with at least 20 points the following week.
THE DFS GEMS
Davante Adams, GB – $8,900 on DraftKings. Adams gets a slight 100-dollar price break this week. I look for the trend to continue of him bouncing back strong off a weak fantasy performance.
JD McKissic, WASH – $5,000 on DraftKings. This play is all dependent on the status of Gibson, but if he sits out McKissic makes for a great value play with upside catching out of the backfield.
Ricky Seals-Jones, WASH – $3,700 on DraftKings. DK continues to leave his price tag too low for his production and they should be playing in catch-up mode in this game. 8 and 6 targets in his last 2 starts.
