MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Titans are looking to get the win here and lock up the 1 overall seed in the AFC playoffs. Ryan Tannehill (6000) is never really an option for me as this team loves to pound the rock. I wont have any this week. D’Onta Foreman (5700) is expected to have some ownership this week as he has solidified himself as the clear RB1 when this team is ahead. He is coming off a 26 carry, 132 yard and 1 TD performance in week 17. AJ Brown (7000) is the lone fantasy relevant WR play for the Titans. Although I’m not sure I will have any this week as I expect the Titans to Establish the run early and often. None of the TItans TE’s are in play for me as they have a low floor and ceiling. I dont hate the TEN DST here at 3300.
It looks as if the Texans have found themselves a decent QB moving forward in Davis Mills (5300). However, This week with the Titans expected to control the ball a ton, I’m not seeing much upside here for him. Rex Burkhead (5200) has established himself as the RB1 for the TExans and they rewarded him with a contract extension. I dont hate taking a shot on him here in GPPS as he is coming off a 6 reception game in week 17. When healthy, Brandin Cooks (6300), is the clear volume hog for the Texans. He has reached double digit targets each of his last 3 games and I would expect the same here. Brevin Jordan (2700) is a decent TE punt option here.
THE DFS GEMS
D’Onta Foreman, TEN – $5,700 on DraftKings. Should get 20+ carries here.
Rex Burkhead, HOU – $5,200 on Draftkings. Should continue to see some targets.
Brandin Cooks, HOU – $6,300 on Draftkings. A little cheap considering he should see 10 targets.
