MATCHUP SUMMARY
Ryan Tannehill and the Titans are looking to bounce back but will face a brutal test today against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. The Titans were a disaster week one against the Cardinals. Derrick Henry was stuffed for 58 rush yards on 17 attempts. One bright spot was his 4 targets out of the backfield. Ryan Tannehill was highly inefficient completing just 21 of 35 for 212. Henry projects to be sub 5% owned on DraftKings and presents an intriguing play as an unowned late hammer play.
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks were cook’n in their opener against the Colts. Wilson was highly efficient completing 18 for 23 piling up 254 yards and 4 touchdowns. Tyler Lockett got it done with just 5 targets on the day; he converted these targets into 4 catches, 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. If you are a believer in ‘zig-zag theory’ I’d highly suggest rostering DK Metcalf this week. From a game script perspective; the best overall play in this game is Chris Carson who is priced a bit too low at 6.1K on DraftKings.
THE DFS GEMS
Chris Carson, $6,100 on DraftKings. A scary fade on DraftKings. Oddsmakers have him -150 to score a touchdown & the rush positive game script should give him a 16+ rush attempt floor.
Russell Wilson, $7,500 on DraftKings. It seems Pete Carroll is fine letting him cook early and often in the season. A strong QB play in tournaments.
Derrick Henry, $8,300 on DraftKings. Last week I played Nick Chubb in my Patrick Mahomes + Tyreek Hill + Travis Kelce stacks playing on a game script that the Browns would get up early. It’s quite contrarian but I think you can make that same move here with Derrick Henry + Russell Wilson + DK Metcalf stacks. . . If, of course, you can find the value to make it work.
