MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Tennessee Titans (2-1) are coming off a 25-16 home win over Indianapolis to win back-to-back games after their loss in week 1 to Arizona. Derrick Henry followed up his 182 yard/3 touchdown effort against the Seahawks in week 2 with 113 yards against the Colts last week. He should be in line for another monster game against the Jets. Ryan Tannehill could be without his top two wide receivers in AJ Brown and Julio Jones. Jones is dealing with a leg injury while Brown left last week’s game with a hamstring injury.
Rookie Zach Wilson and the New York Jets have gotten off to a terrible start to the season and are coming off a shut out loss in Denver last week 26-0 to drop their record to 0-3. Wilson has thrown 7 interceptions and been sacked 15 times through three games. Wide Receiver Corey Davis has been quiet since the opener where he had 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wilson will need to get Davis back involved this week if the Jets have any chance of pulling off an upset over the Titans.
THE DFS GEMS
Derrick Henry, TEN – $8,800 DraftKings. With the availability of AJ Brown and Julio Jones in doubt this week, I look for the Titans to rely heavily on the “Big Dog” Derrick Henry this week. This is a very fair price considering the matchup and is one of my favorite plays this week.
Corey Davis, NYJ – $5,000 on DraftKings. For the Jets to compete in this game they will need to get Corey Davis back involved in the offense and passing game. The Titans have struggled in the early season giving up a lot of yards through the air. It should also be a good game script here with the Jets playing from behind.
