THE GOLDEN BOOT: EUROS 6/15 DFS BREAKDOWN

An action packed two game slate today with the heavyweight match of the entire group stage going on today with France going to Munich and taking on Germany. Lots of talent on display in that one, while we also get a heavily favored Portugal side going against Hungary who is in for a rough time this summer due to their group. This one will be shorter than the others covering only 2 games, and also us having SD content for the massive SD slate for the Germany-France match. There is still time to sign up using promo code: EUROS25 for 25% off your subscription and access to EVERY DFS sport’s content on the site and in the discord.

There are probably a few paths most people go. Some will stack Portugal from top to bottom and hope France and Germany fight to a stalemate. Some will stack the Portugese defense and hope France-Germany blows up into one of the higher scoring matches that we can remember. While others will simply just mix it up and select all the set piece takers for cash games.

I love the plays of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, and the rest of the Portuguese attack, however I will be a little underweight on the said three and even try and run back some Hungarian hopeful clean sheet lineups. It would set up beyond perfect if the slate started out with an unexpected result in this one leading to a massive pile of riches for the 2nd game to take on. However this Portugal will be the main team that everyone will stack just due to the odds and upside of each and every player. Even the defenders and goalkeeper Rui Patricio carry upside and a degree of safeness that can be had.

I foresee goals in this Germany – France matchup. Not just one or two. I think we see potentially 4+ goals in this firecracker of a group stage showdown. We have attacking talent with Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe, and Karim Benzema all amazing for France on the attacking side of things, while on the other side of the ball we have the front three of Serge Gnabry, Kai Havertz, and Thomas Muller who just dazzled last week in their tune-up friendly. We also have Toni Kroos taking most set pieces for a modest price in what should be a very open match. I can’t wait for this one, I will try and be overweight on the entire attack as much as I can and hope the first game duds so we can ship this slate.
