What a slate yesterday was. I was in the top 5 late into the final game before the 4th and 5th goals were bashed home and ruin a fun sweat, but a friendly reminder that anything can happen in soccer. Also the fact that we are seeing success and we still have the entire month going. This will be tons of fun going forward and the only thing trending down is my sleeping time. Defender is a bit different than the slate we just had. Got Andrew Robertson who should take set pieces for Scotland and is one of the top plays on the entire slate with his extremely high floor. Vladmir Coufal also will get into advanced positions often in the same match for Czech Republic and will be one of the best defenders to pair with Robertson. Outside of those two, due to the salary constraints of the slate, spending down at the 2nd defender spot could be popular and allow for a better build with the midfield and forwards carrying a price. Centre Backs are always tough to play but spending below 3K for a favored side on a player like Kamil Gilk will be an example of something I do here today.
The floor plays are a bit few and far between with Spain never offering high floors and having a revolving door of set pieces, Sweden being such large underdogs in the same match. Piotr ZieliÅ„ski unable to truly be effective at times, but does have a good floor relative to the slate. Slovakia also making things difficult form a floor perspective too. The floor plays will be had in this early game. We have the two higher priced defenders mentioned above, but also Valdimir Darida who will offer a great floor for the mid-tier range and is an important part of the Czech Republic midfield.Â
Spain will be a major headache but they will score goals. Them being the late match and with a lineup that is far from set in stone will be interesting. Ferran Torres will be the main guy I look at with heavy exposures set to the others in the front three. Most likely Alvaro Morata and Gerard Moreno. These three will have the highest upside on the slate but do come with a hefty price. Jordi Alba will bring a high upside play similar to how we saw Dumfries last night with Netherlands, he will be someone that could break the slate pretty late as well. The midfield three of Spain right now is set to be Koke, Rodri, and Thiago. These three are fairly priced and will absolutely make my exposure list.
Robert Lewandowski is a top 3 player in the world right now. 12K is hefty though and this slate is just so tough to fit him. I think fiddling around and getting something that feels good in a lineup that includes him is rather difficult. The play is very similar to that of Harry Kane yesterday who failed, but the upside is the strongest by far and is going to be chalky.
Good luck today! I will be in the chat and fully awake with a bottle of gatorade to recover from last night!
