MATCHUP SUMMARY
Losers of five in a row, the Texans head to the desert to take on the undefeated Cardinals and old friends DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt. Let’s cut to the chase: Brandin Cooks is the only possible GPP play on the Texans.
The Cardinals have spread the ball around this season and, at least on paper, this game offers little in the way of shootout, ceiling game potential. My favorite play here is DeAndre Hopkins who will be motivated to destroy his former team and should encounter little resistance. The Running Back committee here is annoying but James Conner has been seeing the goal line and garbage time touches and is worth some tournament plays at just $5600 on DraftKings.
THE DFS GEMS
DeANDRE HOPKINS, ARI – $7700 on DraftKings. This is one of the few spots where I think revenge is a thing and Houston’s defense is dreadful.
JAMES CONNER, ARI – $5600 on DraftKings. Chase Edmonds is the same price and if I’m being honest I probably stay away from both but Conner would be the guy to see more touches if this blows out as expected.
BRANDIN COOKS, HOU – $6000 on DraftKings. Volume and price play for the only guys worth playing on this team.
