MATCHUP SUMMARYÂ
Losers of course in a row The Football Team has been one of the biggest disappointments all year. They will need a strong 2nd half to make a late surge for a playoff bid. The Bucs are fighting the injury bug. Many think they will rise back up after a loss to the Saints. If the same tune from last week follows The Football Team could pull the upset as the Bucs ride a mid season swoon.Â
Taylor Heinicke has been solid but far from spectacular. If he could eliminate the mistakes the fantasy numbers would be much better. Losing Logan Thomas was a blow and not having anyone at wideout step up opposite Terry McLaurin has also been an achilles. Getting Antonio Gibson going on the ground will be key against a touch run defense. In the end it will be the Football Team defense setting the stage. Do they keep it close and low scoring or is Heinicke going to be winging the ball playing from behind.Â
The Football Team has been vulnerable against the pass setting up well for Tom Brady. The question is how will he attack minus Gronk and potentially Antonio Brown. With no Brown, Tyler Johnson will be popular after a solid outing last week and a cheap price. In addition Chris Godwin will be popular leaving Mike Evans as the pivot. Let’s not forget Leonard Fournette is still viable and probably forgotten after a dismal game last week.

THE DFS GEMS Â
Tom Brady, Bucs- $7,600. Has been solid all year. If he sets the tone early should be a big game. If he lets The Football Team’s defense set the tone I foresee a lower scoring game.
Tyler Johnson, Bucs- $3,300. If Brown is out he becomes a cash lock and instant salary saver with upside. He should be good for 4-7 targets if not more depending on game flow.
Taylor Heinicke, Football Team- $5,400. Minus a low scoring game he should be in a good spot. If the game stays close it’s likely due to him, if they fall behind he will be winging the ball all over. If Heinicke can eliminate the turnovers he could be in a good spot at the end.
