QB
Patrick Mahomes priced at 12.4K travels to face a tough Jets defense tonight. This Jets defense has given up 61 points already through 3 games this year and I expect Mahomes to put up 20+ points as well. Mahomes is off back-to-back 25 DK point performances completing 70%+ passes. Mahomes will be a priority for me tonight in the Captain and Flex positions.
The Jets QB position will be a fade for me tonight as we could see Zach Wilson getting benched at some point. Wilson priced at 9K and Boyle/Siemian priced at 6K.
RB
The Chiefs RB position is tough to gauge at times but for showdowns, I will be looking to target all 3 of Pacheco, McKinnon, and CEH. The snap count for each last game was Pacheco – 32, McKinnon – 22, CEH – 23. Rush+Recv props for each Pacheco – 70.5, McKinnon – 27.5, CEH doesn’t have anything I can find. All 3 RBs will be Flex options for me. The Jets have allowed 157 and 134 yards rushing in the last 2 weeks.
The Jets have a pair of RBs with Breece Hall priced at 7.8K leading the position in snaps last week at 31 to 16 last week over Dalvin Cook 6.2K. I will give each a fair projection and see where they land for Flex spots for me tonight.
WR
The Chiefs have many options as 9 different players caught passes last week. Rookie, Rashee Rice led the position last week catching 5 of 7 targets for 59 yards. I think Rice has the most upside of the group and I will be prioritizing him above the rest at 4.8K. Sky Moore, priced at 6.4K caught 4 of 6 targets last week for 42 yards a week after catching 3 for 70 and a touchdown. Justin Watson is another guy I will need to be overweight on tonight as I plan to jam Mahomes/Kelce. Watson is a big play threat averaging over 20 yards per reception this year catching at least 2 passes for 40+ yards in all 3 games this season. MVS and Toney are fine Flex plays for large-field GPPS. Receiving yard props Rice – 27.5, Moore – 33.5, Watson 23.5, and MVS 22.5. Reception props Rice – 2.5 and Moore – 3.5. Rice and Watson are large field GPP Captain options.
The Jets pass catchers are somewhat handicapped here with the QB situation. Garrett Wilson has the talent and ability to make plays as we saw in the Dallas game taking a slant to the house. The 9.6K tag is very tough to fit in if you are playing both Mahomes and Kelce. I think his ownership will be fairly low tonight. Allen Lazard priced at 4K will be the Jet I get most of. The Jets should be trailing all game here and Lazard should get the opportunity to pay off his tag. Cobb is priced at 1K but has only caught 1 pass all season. Wilson’s receiving prop is at 52.5 and Lazard has a prop of 32.5.
TE
Travis Kelce is in a smash spot here tonight and I think finds the endzone once again tonight. I will have Kelce on all my teams tonight and overweight in the Captain position. Kelce has a prop of 73.5 yards tonight. The Patriots TEs put up 21.6 DK points last week and the Cowboys TEs put up 17.2 the game before. Tonight we see Kelce put up 25+ DK points.
Tyler Conklin will be a guy I am overweight on tonight in the Flex position to help save salary and I think we see him used as a safety valve for Wilson who loves to check it down. The 1.6K price tag is very handy for us tonight. 8 catches for Conklin in the last 2 games as well.
DEF/K
I will be overweight on the Chiefs defense and Butker tonight with fairly cheap tags for this situation. Chiefs defense is 5.2K and Butker is 4.6K making them good flex options tonight. Greg Zuerlein practiced this week and this is news we need to monitor. If he doesn’t play it would be Austin Seibert.
