MATCHUP SUMMARY
Coming off a thrilling loss to the Chargers in LA, the Steelers go to Cincinatti trying to stay in the playoff race in the AFC North. Big Ben is coming off a very impressive 4th quarter comeback attempt but I would temper expectations here. He was 28/44 for 273 yards and relied heaviliy on the short passing game and wasnt very efficient. The Bengals have given up the 7th fewest FP to the QB position. In the last meeting these teams had, Najee Harris (8200) had 19!! targets and went over 100 yds receiving. He is a top play here. Dionte Johnson (6600) remains the only fantasy relevant WR with a massive 26 targets over his last 2 weeks. With Eric Ebron out yet again, this is an attractive spot for Pat Freiermuth (4300).
Joe Burrow hasnt eclipsed 10 DK points since week 8, and while I think he does here, it wont be by much. The Steelers are getting back a few pieces on defense this week so Burrow is a stay away for me. Joe Mixon (7500) has been absolutely SMASHING over his last 2 weeks. He is coming off a 30 carry game in which he went over 100 yards and scored 2 TDs. The volume alone puts him in consideration this week. Ja’Marr Chase (7300) is currently in a rut over his last 3 games, but could emerge here as the Steelers are without top CB Joe Haden. I expect a tough in division matchup here with both teams leaning on the run game.
THE DFS GEMS
Najee Harris, PIT – $8,200 on DraftKings. 19 Targets in last meeting with the Bengals.
Joe Mixon, CIN – $7,500 on Draftkings. Coming off a massive 30 carry game, I expect somehting similiar here.
Pat Freiermuth – $4,300 on Draftkings. With Ebron out, he is too cheap.
