Snyder’s PGA Bets: Wyndham Championship

Last week’s recap: 3-1 Matchups +1.75u

Season totals: Matchups 1910-1 +7.08u

Maverick McNealy +130 vs Matt Wallace *1 unit*

My boy Mav is coming off another top 10 finish at the Barracuda Championship, shooting 67, 67, 67, 69. McNealy has really exceled on these easier tracks. He placed 8th at the Rocket Mortgage making 21 birdies there. Wallace comes off a 77th at the PGA and a 59th at the St. Jude. He ranks 111th in BS, 122nd in APP, and 113th in Par 4 scoring over the past 24 rounds. This dog will be barking on Sunday grab the +130.

Bud Cauley -125 vs Carlos Ortiz *1 unit*

Cauley was one of the more popular DFS punt plays last week in the higher stakes with good reason as he finished inside the top 40. Cauley has 7 of his last 9 cuts with an average finish in the mid-30s. Cauley hits fairways and greens at a good clip it just comes down to his hot and cold putter. Ranks 2nd in scrambling which is a needed stat on these Donald Ross tracks. Ortiz has lost strokes T2G and OTT in 6 of his last 7 events and has made 3 of his last 7 cuts. He can get hot for a round or 2 but only has 1 top 40 finish in those 7 events. He leans on his putter mainly which is a volatile stat.

Brenden Todd -125 vs Cory Conners *1 unit*

Todd has been playing some great golf just has not been able to close on Sunday’s losing a 54-hole lead twice recently. Hits a lot of fairways and puts himself in position to make birdies ranking inside the top 10 in opportunities gained. Top 10 in fairways gained, scrambling, and putting over the past 24 rounds. He has 2 wins early in the season and this is another weaker field and easy track that he could win at. Conners does not make as many birdies mainly due to his bad putting. He has posted some solid finishes inside the top 20 since the return from break but I want to side with the better putter in Todd on these tougher fast undulating greens.
