Season total: 1-2 -2.3 units
Cam Davis -125 vs Tom Hoge  *1 unit*
Hoge doesn’t come in with the best of form missing 3 of his last 4 cuts and has only made 2 cuts in 5 attempts here. Hoge has struggled off the tee and hitting greens in regulation ranking 96th and 129th in the 2 stats over his last 24 rounds. Davis comes off a strong finish to 2020 and a 31st place finish last week where he struggled with his irons until the final day where he gained over a stroke approach. Davis ranks 6th OTT and 5th in BoB over the last 24 rounds. Davis has finished inside the top 30 in both trips here.
Patton Kizzire +100 vs Talor Gooch  *1 unit*
I feel like we have some good value on Kizzire here as Gooch does have better odds to win the event but Kizzire has better odds to finish T5 and T10 vs Gooch. Gooch comes in off back-to-back missed cuts and his stats don’t jump out at you any over his last 24 rounds. Kizzire has been playing some of his best golf to close out 2020 and picked up right where he left off last week with a 7th place finish at the Sony Open. Patton is gaining 7.1 strokes total on average over his last 5 events.
John Huh -125 vs Ryan Moore   *1 unit*
Moore had a rough finish to 2020 missing 4 of his last 6 cuts and hasn’t played an event since August 16th. It’s hard to tell what type of shape his game is in off this long break and Huh has been dialed in making 9 of his last 10 cuts and ranks inside the top 10 in BoB over the last 24 rounds. Huh has made 5 of his 6 cuts here highlighted by a 3rd place finish in 2018. The Cali native had the putter rolling pure to close out 2020 and looks for another solid finish here in his home state.
Sepp Straka -106 vs Keegan Bradley   *1 unit*
Last year Straka shot bogey-free 65-66 at the Stadium Course and this year they will be playing the Stadium Course 3 times. Straka went on the finish 4th place here last year gaining over 5 strokes approach and 6 strokes T2G. Straka comes in off 6 straight made cuts and ranks 3rd in BoB and 7th in SG:APP over the last 24 rounds. Keegan is a complete wildcard as you just never know what you are going to get out of him. He is a boom/bust golfer with more bust than boom as he only had 1 top 10 finish last year. He missed 5 of his last 10 cuts to end 2020 and opened 2021 with a missed cut last week at the Sony. If he makes the cut he’s usually floating around the mid-30s to 40s in finishing position.
