MATCHUP SUMMARY
Russell Wilson returns after a monthlong absence proclaiming himself fully healthy. This is a critical game for Seattle in their quest to stay in the playoff hunt. Even better news for Russ’s chances of deliciously cooking this week is that Chris Carson will not play in this matchup. This is a game you can build around with a stack of Russ and one or both of his dynamic playmakers, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. The Running Backs for Seattle are not in play here.
Aaron Rodgers was activated from the COVID-IR as expected and will play. His top target, Davante Adams, has hung 160 receiving yards on the Seahawks in each of their last two meetings. This is also a phenomenal matchup for Aaron Jones. Despite somehow being ranked 11th DVOA against the rush, Seattle is yielding the second-most fantasy points to opposing Running Backs of teams on the slate. With a total just slightly above 50 and superior offensive talent, this sets up as one of the juiciest games for DFS this week.
THE DFS GEMS
DAVANTE ADAMS, GB – $7900 on DraftKings. One of the top Wide Receiver options on the slate with Rodgers back.
AARON JONES, GB – $6700 on DraftKings. Seattle has been destroyed on the ground this season and Jones is underpriced for the opportunity.
RUSSELL WILSON, SEA – $4700 on DraftKings. The slight discount from Rodgers makes Russ my preference of the two.
TYLER LOCKETT, SEA – $6500 on DraftKings. Lockett had great chemistry early in the season before coverages flipped and the price is fair.
DK METCALF, SEA – $6800 on DraftKings. One of Metcalf or Lockett is going to be a priority for my lineups this week.
