MATCHUP SUMMARY

The 49ers come off a close loss to Seattle last week having a chance to tie the game late. San Francisco scored 23 first-half points and led at the break, but their offense sputtered in the 2nd half not registering a point. George Kittle finally had a breakout game catching 9 balls for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns. Deebo Samuel missed the game leading to Kittle and Aiyuk shouldering the load-receiving. We need to monitor the news on Samuel as he is yet to see the practice field this week and could be in jeopardy of missing a 2nd straight game. Eli Mitchell has carried the rock 20+ times in 3 straight games and found the endzone for the 2nd straight game. Eli Mitchell is very questionable to play this week and is yet to practice. This is big news to monitor, and we will have all the news and who this could benefit in discord. Jimmy G is priced under 6K but continues to show no real upside scoring under 18 points in his last 4 games.

After back-to-back wins, the Bengals took one on the chin last week losing 41-22 to the Chargers. Joe Mixon continues to be the bell cow back here and has now found the endzone in 9 straight games. Mixon is now at home vs a defense that has given up 30+ points to the RB position their last 2 games. Mixon was priced up to 8.1K last week and gets a decrease to 7.7K this week. Joe Burrow threw for 300 yards last week for the first time in 5 weeks after a strong start to the season. Tee Higgins has been the feature WR the past 2 weeks catching 100+ yards and a touchdown in both games. 14 targets last week catching 9 for 138 and a touchdown. After a strong start to the season, Ja’Marr Chase has regressed and is searching for the big plays he was making early in the season. 8 targets still last week but only caught 5 for 52 yards. Chase makes for a solid GPP option and should come in at lower ownership.

THE DFS GEMS

George Kittle, SF – $6,900 on DraftKings. Kittle looks to be fully healthy finally and should get peppered again this week if Samuel and Mitchell miss this game.

Joe Mixon, CIN – $7,700 on DraftKings. If San Fran has injury issues this could be a great spot for Mixon to see 20+ carries and work from the lead.

Ja’Marr Chase, CIN – $6,900 on DraftKings. I like Chase for GPPs as another big game is near and should be low owned.
