Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Tuesday’s six game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads & game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

GRIZZLIES (118.5) -1, 236 @ WIZARDS (117.5)

The Memphis Grizzlies (15-15) travel to Washington to take on the Wizards (13-19). The Grizzlies are fresh off a 49 point pasting of the reeling Rockets on Sunday night. They are led in scoring by Ja Morant but come into this game as one of the more balanced teams offensively in the league with 6 guys averaging in double figures and 3 more averaging 9 ppg. The Wizards are coming off a heart breaking loss in Boston on Sunday night 111-110. Bradley Beal erupted for 46 points in the loss. He currently leads the NBA in scoring at 33.2 ppg. Russell Westbrook recorded his 10th straight double double in the loss. The Wizards are the 5th highest scoring team in the league.

CLIPPERS (113.5) -4, 223 @ CELTICS (109.5)

The Los Angeles Clippers (24-12) will look to rebound after their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks 105-100 as they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics (17-17). They will be playing their fourth game of a five-game road trip. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games and are led by Kawhi Leonard at 26.8 ppg. The Celtics are coming off a last second win over the Wizards at home on Sunday night. They have won their last two after losing their previous three. They are led in scoring by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each at 25 ppg. Brown sat out last game with a sore left knee. Tatum got things back on track with 31 points and 8 rebounds. He had shot 8 for 38 in his previous two games from the field.

HEAT (112.5)  -4, 221 vs HAWKS (108.5)

The Atlanta Hawks (14-20) are playing the Miami Heat (17-17) in back to back games in Miami after they lost to the Heat 109-99 on Sunday night. John Collins led the Hawks with 34 points and 10 rebounds in that one. Trae Young struggled from the field (3/14) with 15 points but did add 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The outside shooters of the Hawks, Young, Huerter and Gallinari were a combined 3 for 24 on 3 pointers. The Heat played that game without leading scorer Jimmy Butler (sprained right ankle). He is questionable to play in the rematch tonight. Kendrick Nunn got the start in the absence of Butler and led the team with 24 points. Bam Adebayo is on a streak of six consecutive games with a double double.

SPURS (110) -3, 217 vs KNICKS (107)

The New York Knicks (18-17) travel to Texas to take on the San Antonio Spurs (17-13). The Knicks come into this game on a 3 game winning streak and have won 7 of their last 9. Julius Randle is having a breakout season averaging 23.4 ppg and 10.9 rpg and was recently named to his first NBA all star game. Derrick Rose has filled in nicely at point guard the last 4 games in the absence of Elfrid Payton and has been seeing 30 minutes per game over that stretch. The Spurs have only played 4 games since Feb 14th due to Covid safety protocol. They welcomed the return of DeMar DeRozan on Saturday night with 32 points and 11 assist in a win over New Orleans. They are coming off a home overtime loss to the Nets last night 124-113 in overtime. DeRozan again led the way for the Spurs with 22 points and 11 assists.

BUCKS (121) -7, 235 vs NUGGETS (114)

The Milwaukee Bucks (21-13) welcome in the Denver Nuggets (19-15) to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The Nuggets come in on a back to back and have won 6 of their last 10 after beating Chicago on the road last night 118-112. Nikola Jokic followed up his triple double on Saturday against the Thunder with a 39 point, 14 rebound and 9 assist night against the Bulls. The Bucks meanwhile are coming off a huge home win over the Clippers 105-100on Sunday. Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a 36/14/5 stat line to lead the way in that one. He has scored 35 or more points in 4 straight games.

LAKERS (109.5) -2, 217 vs SUNS (107.5)

This game features two of the best teams out West as the Phoenix Suns (22-11) visit the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Lakers (24-11). The Suns are coming off a red hot month of February going 12-3. They are coming off a 118-99 thumping of Minnesota. All-star Devin Booker led the way with a season-high 43 points in that one and is averaging 25.5 ppg this season. The Lakers on the other hand have been playing without Anthony Davis (strained achilles) since Feb 14th. The Lakers are 3-4 without him during in that stretch. Dennis Schroder returned from injury and has played the last 2 games.
