The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.
JAZZ (116.5)Â -4.5, 228.5 @ CELTICS (112)
The Utah Jazz (28-10) are looking to get back on track as they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics (20-18). The Jazz are in the second game of a five-game road trip and have lost three of their last four games after a 131-119 loss to Golden State on Sunday night. Jazz center Rudy Gobert is coming off a monster game in the loss to the Warriors when he posted 24 points and a franchise record 28 rebounds.
The Celtics are coming off a 134-107 win over the Houston Rockets. They have won five of their last six games. They were led in scoring by Jaylen Brown with 24 points, while Jayson Tatum added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Robert Williams was great off the bench with 16 points (7-7 from the field) and 13 rebounds in only 19 minutes of action. Utah won the first meeting with Boston this season 122-108 back on Feb. 9th. Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Jazz with 36 points and nine assists in that one.

The Houston Rockets (11-26) are looking to snap its NBA-worst 16-game losing streak as they welcome in the Atlanta Hawks (19-20) to the Toyota Center. The Rockets have been riddled with injuries and it looks like they will again be short-handed tonight. During this current losing streak they have lost by an average of 24 ppg. Victor Oladipo has been the lead guy with John Wall and other starters being out and will be a another strong play tonight. Christian Wood, who has been sidelined since Feb 4th with an ankle injury could return in a few games that would give them a much needed offensive boost. There has been some value we can go to with all the injuries. Kevin Porter Jr., Jae ‘Sean Tate and KJ Martin Jr. have provided nice stats the last few games.
The Hawks come into this game riding a five-game winning streak after their 100-82 win over Cleveland. Starting tonight they will play nine of their next 10 games on the road. They have been led in scoring by Trae Young (26.4 ppg) however recently have gotten great production from John Collins and Clint Capela. Danilo Gallinari got the rare start against the Cavaliers and posted 20 points and 5 rebounds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (14-24) travel to Miami to take on the Heat (21-18) at the American Airlines Arena. The Cavaliers have lost three games in a row after winning their previous four games. They have really struggled on the road this year with a 5-14 record. They lost in Atlanta on Sunday 100-82. Guards Collin Sexton (23.7 ppg) and Darius Garland (15.9 ppg and 5.9 assists) have led the team offensively. The team has been trying to work out a trade involving veteran center Andre Drummond who no longer plans on playing for the team.
The Heat come into this game as one of the hottest teams in the league winning four games in a row and 10 of their last 11. The impressive part of the hot streak is that they have done it primarily without second leading scorer Bam Adebayo (19.2 ppg) who has been out since March 2nd. In his absence Kelly Olynyk has moved into a starting role and has averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds. Leading scorer Jimmy Butler (21.4 ppg) has really been impressive posting over 50 DK points in six games in a row and nine of his last 11 games.

The Philadelphia 76’ers (27-12) will take on the New York Knicks (20-20) tonight from the Wells Fargo Center. The 76’ers have won five games in a row and seven of their last eight. Joel Embiid underwent an MRI that revealed no structural damage to his knee/ACL but is still expected to miss a few weeks of action. Ben Simmons, who returned from missing the last two games due to health and safety protocol, scored 14 points and added 9 assists in a 134-99 win over the Spurs. Tobias Harris led the team with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Since the all-star break the 76’ers have won their three games by an average of 27.6 points.
The Knicks come into this game coming off a tough 117-112 loss last night on the road to Brooklyn. They were again led by Julius Randle who had 33 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the loss. RJ Barrett added 23 points. They played the game without starting guard Elfrid Payton (hamstring) and if he sits again it will bring the guards like Immanuel Quickley, Alex Burks and Reggie Bullock into play. Monitor the status on Derrick Rose as well. He has been out the last several games and if he is ruled in tonight that will obviously change the way we look at this game. The Oklahoma City Thunder (17-22) will travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls (17-20) at the United Center. The Thunder beat Memphis 128-122 led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 30 points and 5 assists. Aleksej Pokusevski posted a double-double with career-best 23 points and 10 rebounds. They have won three of their last four and are 6-4 in their last 10 games.
After back-to-back losses to start the second half, the Bulls beat Toronto 118-95 in Chicago on Sunday. They got balance scoring with nine players in double figures led by Patrick Williams with 23 points. All-star Zach LaVine has been a stud all year long posting nice fantasy numbers on a nightly basis. He erupted for 35 points including 8-14 from 3-point range in his first meeting between these two teams. Lauri Markkanen returned from injury after the break and has averaged 18 points and 5 rebounds over the last 3 games.

The New Orleans Pelicans (17-22) will look to make it three wins in a row when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers (22-16). Zion WIlliamson has scored 20 or more points in 17 straight games. He scored 27 points in a huge win over over the Clippers 135-115 last time out. The team had 38 assist in the win, just two shy of a team record. Brandon Ingram scored 23 points and Lonzo Ball added 20 points going 5-8 from 3-point range.
The Trail Blazers split two games in Minnesota over the weekend and are hoping to welcome back standout guard CJ McCollum to the lineup after a two month absence due to a fractured left foot. He had averaged 26.7 ppg in the 13 games prior to his injury. Damian Lillard is second in the NBA in scoring (29.9 ppg) and put up 38 points and 7 rebounds in the loss to Minnesota on Sunday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (9-30) will travel to the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Lakers (26-13). The Timberwolves come in off a 114-112 win over Portland but still own the worst record in the NBA. They have lost eight of their last 10 games. Rookie Anthony Edwards has really improved of late. He led the team with a season-high 34 points in the win over Portland and has now scored 20 or more points in six of his last seven games. They are led by offensively by Karl Anthony-Towns with 22 points and 11 rebounds per game.
The Lakers are coming off a blowout win in Golden State last night 128-97 behind the 98th career triple-double by Lebron James. The King recorded a 22/10/11 stat line in only 30 minutes of action. He is two short of becoming the fifth player in NBA history to reach the 100 milestone in career triple-doubles. Oscar Robertson (181), Russell Westbrook (157), Magic Johnson (138) and Jason Kidd (107) are the top four. Montrezl Harrell came off the bench to score 27 team-high 27 points.
