MATCHUP SUMMARY

Huge playoff implications on the line between these two injury riddled teams. Of the two teams the Browns are the healthier but we all know Baker Mayfield is playing hurt and hasn’t been effective. Both teams are solid against the rush while the pass has been the best way to attack. These two teams also just played each other two weeks ago with the Ravens winning 16-10.

Baltimore is playing with a banged up secondary which should help Mayfield but he is struggling completing no more than 60% of this passes over the past three games. I expect Nick Chubb to be utilized as he only saw 8 running attempts in their last meeting. Jarvis Landry is the main target for Baker as he continues to see heavy targets. Only issue is he is touchdown dependent as he rarely runs long routes.

If the Ravens want to contend for the division championship they need the old Lamar Jackson. He has been throwing heavy this season verse running. With Devontae Freeman leading the way in the backfield Jackson will be counted on heavily on the ground to move the ball. Both Marc Andrews and Marquise are viable options against a suspect pass defense.

THE DFS GEMS

Lamar Jackson, Ravens- $7,400. He should be a nice pivot if you want to go that way at quarterback. Jackson should be able to throw the ball but he needs to eliminate the turnovers.

Nick Chubb, Browns- $7,400. Like Jackson, Chubb should be a solid pivot at RB. Box score watchers will stay away and if the Browns want to win he needs to be a huge piece of the reason why.

I see this game potentially being a fast one with both teams liking to run the ball. We have to many other solid options and I will likely be staying away from this game. If I go with anyone it will be the two players mentioned above.
