MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Ravens head into Pittsburgh at 8-3 having mastered the art of winning ugly football games. This divisional matchup, the first of the season between Pittsburgh and Baltimore, could be a bit better than some might think. The defenses are atypically average and, in the case of the Steelers, have been playing well below average. Lamar Jackson is the highest priced Quarterback on the slate and I’ll pay it for the rushing upside here. The Ravens outside of Jackson are a tough team to predict and I’m not high on any of the playmakers. That being said, in the last four games Marquise Brown has played, Jackson has targeted him 49 times and he is a low-owned tournament option.
Bianca…excuse me, Ben Roethlisberger (IYKYK) has been bad recently. However, he has always played his best football at Heinz Field and his DraftKings price has come all the way down to $5000. He’s very easy to stack with Diontae Johnson, who he has targeted an obscene 40 times in the last three games. Najee Harris has underwhelmed recently, but the Ravens have allowed the fourth-highest fantasy points to opposing Running Backs over the last six weeks. Now that Pat Freiermuth’s price has caught up to his production I think there are better plays at Tight End this week.
THE DFS GEMS
LAMAR JACKSON, BAL – $7800 on DraftKings. He should get an easy imodium-fueled 100 rushing yards int his matchup.
BEN ROETHLISBERGER, PIT – $5000 on DraftKings. Simply a price play here, but he does do better at home.
DIONTAE JOHNSON, PIT – $6800 on DraftKings. He gets open and massive volume every week.
NAJEE HARRIS, PIT – $7700 on DraftKings. Jefferson lives in the 20+ point fantasy range this season.
