MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Rams, riding a two game losing streak but fresh off the bye week, head into Green Bay desperately needing a win to stay apace of the NFC West-leading Cardinals and surging 49ers. It will be clear and cold with temperatures expected to hover in the mid-30’s, which has not been a good thing for Matthew Stafford. Over the last five seasons, Stafford has averaged below 20 fantasy points in such weather with the only outlier coming last season in a meaningless game in Chicago. Stafford never had the weapons he has with these Rams, though, yet the offense has struggled over the last two games against the Titans and 49ers. Cooper Kupp draws a favorable matchup and has been the most consistent piece of this Rams offense, even over the last two losses. Darrell Henderson has become increasingly game-script dependent and has struggled to produce in closer games of late. Tyler Higbee lines up on almost all offensive snaps and is relatively inexpensive on DraftKings at $4200. Odell Beckham, Jr. played only 15 snaps in his first game with the Rams. While that may increase here, I’m not interested in he or Van Jefferson except in ultra-contrarian stacks.
The Packers sit fairly comfortably atop the NFC North despite nursing injuries to Aaron Jones, who returns this week, and Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers, AKA Dr. Toes, played incredibly well in last week’s 34-31 loss at Minnesota despite the fractured toe. Pass-catching Running Backs have fared decently against this Rams defense but there is a chance Jones and AJ Dillon split the work. Davante Adams will continue to be an option in tournaments as he continues to see double-digit targets each week. Overall, I won’t be overweight on any individual pieces in this game.

COOPER KUPP, LAR – $9600 on DraftKings. Pricey but is the Rams’ top option in a game they need to win.
DAVANTE ADAMS, GB – $8600 on DraftKings. Double-digit targets and always upside.
