MATCHUP SUMMARY

The Los Angeles Rams (4-1) rebounded after their loss to Arizona with a solid 26-17 road win in Seattle last Thursday night. Matthew Stafford shook off an injury to his finger to complete 25-37 passes for 365 yards and one touchdown. Robert Woods, who had disappointed DFS backers through the first four weeks, broke out with a monster game with 12 catches (on 14 targets) and 150 yards. Cooper Kupp who has gotten off to a great start with Stafford under center caught 7 balls for 92 yards. He has had at least 10 targets in every game this year. Kupp should be in line for another big game against the Giants.

The banged up New York Giants (1-4) are coming off a 44-20 road loss in Dallas, one that saw more key players go down due to injuries. Already playing without WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton, they would lose QB Daniel Jones (concussion), RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) and WR Kenny Golladay (knee). On a positive note for the Giants, it was a breakout performance for WR Kadarius Toney against the Cowboys. He caught 10 passes (on 13 targets) for 189 yards. He himself injured his ankle in the loss. Both Slayton and Shepard did participate in practice on Wednesday and are listed as questionable.

THE DFS GEMS

Robert Woods, LAR – $6,100 on DraftKings. Woods finally broke out with a big game last week in Seattle and draws another favorable matchup here against the Giants.

Darrell Henderson, LAR – $6,000 on DraftKings. While the passing game and WRs will get a lot of traction in this game I look for the Rams to get the lead and use the running game much more here and get a 2-3 touchdown win.

Kadarius Toney, NYG – $5,600 – on DraftKings. It will depend on the health of the other Giants WRs but if the top 3 of Shepard, Slayton and Golladay are unable to go it could leave Toney as the only viable WR fantasy option here. He should also benefit from playing from behind in a nice game script.
