MATCHUP SUMMARY
Derek Carr has put together back-to-back 300+ passing yard games as the Raiders downed the Eagles 33-22 last week. Carr has now scored 23+ fantasy points in 5 of 7 games this season. Hunter Renfrow and Bryan Edwards should see a usage bump following the tragic news regarding Henry Ruggs. Renfrow has seen 8 targets in 3 of his last 4 games. He caught 7 passes for 58 yards vs the Eagles. Darren Waller is projected to return this week barring any setbacks. If Waller would happen to sit again Foster Moreau would once again be a great value option at Tight End. Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake are viable for GPPs this week as the Giants have been beatable on the ground this year.
The Giants lost a close one last week at Kansas City 20-17 but definitely held their own. We haven’t seen the rushing upside from Daniel Jones much this season. Jones has only totaled 53 rushing yards in the last 4 games. Devontae Booker led the team in both rushing and receiving yards with 132 total yards. 5 catches off 6 targets for Booker as he continues to see work in both facets. Sterling Sheppard recorded the most targets with 7 but was only able to total 25 yards. Kadarius Toney has big-play ability but was held to 26 yards on 4 receptions. 8 different players recorded a catch last week but the main targets continue to be Sheppard, Toney, and Booker.
THE DFS GEMS
Derek Carr, LV – $5,900 on DraftKings. Carr has been a solid value QB this season and gets a good matchup vs a beatable Giants secondary.
Kadarius Toney, NYG – $5,200 on DraftKings. Toney is a nice GPP target and showed upside vs the Saints and Cowboys before getting injured.
