Colorado is trying to climb back up the standings, but they have a tough battle today, taking on the Penguins. This will be their first meeting of the season, but the Penguins have won three of their last five against the Avalanche.
MacKinnon does not have great history against the Penguins, especially in Pittsburgh. With 8 trips to PPG Paints Arena, MacKinnon has five points. Both teams are on the playoff bubble and will be trying to come out of this break hot. Bettors can expect a lot of defense in this one, and Mackinnon will be lucky to have a single point.
Filip Forsberg Over 3 Shots on Goal
Those who don’t spend much time in our NHL circles may not know it’s Forsberg Tuesday.
Filip Forsberg is an incredible winger for the Nashville Predators, and he loves Tuesdays. He scores an insane percentage of his goals on Tuesdays, but with that bet not being available on PrizePicks, his shot prop is a solid alternative.
He averaged over three shots a game in January, and he should be coming out of the break hungry. Hosting Vegas, he will need to step up for his team to bring home a win.
Ja Morant Under 27.5 Points
Ja Morant and the Grizzlies have been struggling. A month ago, they were considered the best team in the NBA, but they have now lost six of their last seven games. There is no telling how long this slide will last, but things have been ugly for this quad.
Morant’s point totals have fallen, and he has topped 27 points just once in his last four games. He has 32 against Portland in a game that saw 234 points. With lower totals expected today against Chicago, Morant won’t hit 28 unless he finally decides to throw this team on his back.
LeBron James Under 31.5 Points
This is my favorite play on the day.
LeBron is chasing Kareem, and the Lakers play the Thunder today and the Bucks on Thursday.
It will be poetic for him to pass Kareem’s record while playing for the Lakers against the Bucks. He is 35 points away from history, and not wanting to cut it too close, LeBron should have less than 25 tonight.
