PrizePicks – MLB Flex Play of the Day

After scouring PrizePicks I found the best three MLB pick for a clean can’t lose Flex Play.

Zac Gallen Over 5.5 Strikeouts

PrizePicks has given us a gift with this prop. Zac Gallen has been on fire and has owned the Padres this season. He’ll make the start today, averaging seven Ks a start over his last five. As for his numbers against the Padres, Gallen sat down eight the last time he faced them and eleven the outing prior to that.

Gallen rarely struggles against this division rival, and bettors can feel confident about this one.

Jason Heyward Under 0.5 Total Bases

It’s always surprising to see Jason Heyward’s name pop up on Prizepicks, but he gives bettors a great leg to add to their Flex Play. After hitting a double in his last game, we can count on him to go Ofer in this one. It has been almost a month since he has had hits in back-to-back games, and he only did it twice in July. It would be insulting to call it mediocrity, but counting on a poor performance from Heyward at the plate is a sure thing.

Corbin Burnes Under 6 Strikeouts

Corbin Burnes has struck out exactly five in each of his last three starts. Today he makes the start against the Dodgers, a team that has averaged six total strikeouts over their previous three games. LA has some hot bats, and it is sure to be a tough day for the Milwaukee starter.

We all know Burnes is capable of a double-digit strikeout total, but based on how he and the Dodgers’ bats have been performing of late, there is no case to be made for the over. Worse case, bettors should have a push on this one.
