PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 5/3/23

Jayson Tatum Over 29.5 Points

Jayson Tatum performed beautifully in Game 1, putting up 39 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Despite that, the Celtics still lost. He will come out hard in Game 2, as the Celtics want to avoid going to Philadelphia trailing in the series.

There is a high probability of Tatum replicating Game 1’s numbers; however, with Embiid in the paint, it may be hard for Tatum to reach double-digit rebounds. However, he has had 29+ in five of his seven playoff games. This number is well-placed, but he should be able to hit it today.

Shohei Ohtani Under 95.5 Pitches Thrown

Ohtani‘s pitch totals have been all over the place. However, only twice has he exceeded 95. The game where they needed him to go a little deeper were close, and facing the Cardinals, there is no reason to think they will need much out of him today. Ohtani should pitch six easy innings with a total coming in right around 90.

Seth Jarvis + Timo Meier Over 5.5 Shots on Goal

This is a can’t miss offering from PrizePicks. Timo Meier loves shooting the puck and could easily cover this number himself.

The total is brought down as he only had one shot on goal in Game 7 against the Rangers, but in Game 6, he had six shots on goal. He averaged four shots a game through the first series, so he carries this prop with Jarvis adding a little insurance.

Jarvis averaged three shots a game in his series against the Islanders, but he had two games where he put five pucks on the net.

The line should be Timo OR Jarvis over five shots, but the fact that it’s (+) is an absolute gift from PrziePicks.
