PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 5/18/23

While we still have a leg from yesterday pending, the Flex Play has already cashed. So let’s open up another bet while we wait for that to cash out.

Bo Bichette Over 1.5 Total Bases

Bo Bichette has been one of the best hitters in the league this season, and after cashing this prop four games in a row, he fell flat yesterday, going 1-5 against the Yankees.

Bichette is one of the most disciplined hitters in the league, and that’s what makes this play so strong. He’s reached base in 13 of his last 15 games, and of the four games in that stretch where he didn’t record a hit, he had multiple walks. So even if he can’t make contact, he’s still liable to cash this bet.

Anthony Davis Over 3.5 Blocks + Steals

AD got down and dirty in Game 1, but it still wasn’t enough for his team to pull out a win. With Game 2 tonight in Denver, they will try to steal one to avoid heading home down 0-2.

In Game 1, Davis had 40 points, ten rebounds, two blocks, and three steals. While I am not sure he can repeat the point performance, he has been a defensive monster throughout the playoffs. He has topped four stocks in seven of his last ten games. This is another easy cash for the day.

Sergei Bobrovsky + Frederik Andersen Over 58.5 Goalie Saves

Yesterday I clocked Brady Skjei Under 2 Shots on Goal as the best bet for tonight’s hockey game, and while I still like that play, I’ll give another option for this Flex Play.

The Hurricanes and Panthers were two of the top three shooting teams in the regular season. They fire pucks every chance they receive, and it’s a huge reason why they are the two teams fighting for the title of Eastern Conference Champion. Given that, this series will come down to which goalie can make more stops.

Individually, I like both their props, but if I’m only making one pick, it’s going to be the combined play.
