PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 5/15/23

I always suggest people taking these picks and making them a flex play, but lately my picks have been all or nothing. We’re either going 1-2 or 3-0. Bettors do what you wish that information. I firmly believes, straight money wins money — no parlays, but y’all do what you wish.

Jason Robertson Over 3 Shots on Goal

Remember when we were a quarter of a way into the season, and everyone thought Jason Robertson was better than Connor McDavid? That was funny. Here were are in the conference semifinals, and both are booking their trips to Cancun.

Robertson has been a solid assist man in the playoffs, racking up ten over 12 games, but he only has two goals. Robertson is a solid player and will do his part to help the Stars advance to the Conference Finals, but ultimately, it will be futile.

Patrick Corbin Under 4 Strikeouts

Patrick Corbin receives the call today against the Mets.

New York has yet to see the success they would have liked this season, but one area they are exceeding in is avoiding strikeouts. They are a bottom-four team in Ks, averaging just 7.59 strikeouts per game and an even seven over their last three games.

On top of that, Corbin has exceeded 4 Ks just twice over eight starts. So this number would be high against any team he was facing, but it’s ludacris against the Mets.

Bonus Bet: Washington has the lowest strikeout total of any team in the league, so bettors may consider taking the K under for both starters in this one.

Nikola Jokic Over 28.5 Points

The Nuggets play the Lakers in the Western Conference finals, and this will be an ugly series. This series will be six games at most, but bettors shouldn’t be surprised if this series fails to reach game five.

The Lakers have played solid ball to this point, but the Nuggets are on a roll. They are a force, and the real MVP will make light work of this Los Angeles team.
