PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 5/11/23 (FREE NHL BET INCLUDED)

Deandre Ayton Under 9 Rebounds

My flex plays have not been hitting as well recently, but the one consistent play that has been working is fading Deandre Ayton. He is a well we are going to run dry. Ayton still hasn’t recorded a double-double in this series, and there is no reason to think that will change tonight.

His point prop has dropped to (12.5), and while I was tempted to take the over on that, I’m a firm believer in not fixing broken things.

Yu Darvish Over 6.5 Strikeouts

In today’s MLB Best Bets article, I discussed how strong Darvish has been this season, and while Darvish has eclipsed seven Ks just twice in six starts, the Twins are one of the best teams in the league at striking out. Only the Mariners and Giants have more players put down on strikes. Minnesota averages 9.54 strikeouts per game, and Darvish is an efficient pitcher, so he should have no problem going deep enough into this game to hit that number.

Grubauer + Oettinger Under 0.5 Goals Allowed in the First 8 Minute

For those that aren’t members, my NHL picks are extremely hot right now. I’ve hit 10 of my last 13 picks, and I have four plays cued up for today, but you have to be a member to see the other three. So if you’ve been on the fence about joining, jump aboard today.

That’s enough self-promotion, though.

In my last flex play, I took Burns to record over 3.5 shots on net. I stated he was due for a big game and should record a goal. Burns had both an assist and a goal… on one shot. It was unfortunate that that was the part I got right, and seeing how poorly these shot props have gone for us, I’m going in a different direction.

Two of the four games these two have played saw no goals in the first period, so I’m taking the under in the first period. Even if one goal does come, it won’t be in the first 8 minutes.

1st Period: Under 1.5 Goals (+105) [DK]
