PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 4/27/23

Dejounte Murray Over 21.5 Points

After serving his suspension, Murray is back. After bumping a ref at the end of Game 4, Murray likely thought his season was over, as he surely did not expect his team to force a Game 6. However, here they are, and with the extra rest, he should be able to help his team push for a Game 7.

No one expects Atlanta to win this series, but anything can happen if a Game 7 happens. Murray has been fantastic this month, and he’ll quickly clear 22 tonight.

Shohei Ohtani Over 7.5 Strikeouts

It’s always appointment television with Ohtani takes the mound, and with the way he has been dealing to open the 2023 season, they are few things more entertaining.

Through five starts, Ohtani has pitched twenty-eight innings, stuck out 38, and allowed just two runs. These numbers are insane, and it will be interesting to see how long he can keep it up. He has already owned Oakland once this season, so theirs no reason to think he won’t do it again.

Andrei Vasilevskiy Under 30.5 Goalie Saves

Vasilevskiy has been shaky this series, and despite taking the past two games to overtime, his team suffered a loss in both. Vasilevskiy suffered three total OT L’s in the regular season, and already has two in the playoffs.

Tampa Bay enter Game 5 trailing 3-1 and facing elimination; he knows he has to be at his best. While this series looks over, never underestimate the Leafs’ ability to get in their own way. If there is a team in these playoffs that can choke away a 3-1 lead, it’s the Maple Leafs.

Only once in this series has Vasilevskiy eclipsed 30 saves, and that’s with two games going to overtime. So while he hopes to stop more pucks tonight than he has in other games in this series, he should still fall short of this number.
