PrizePicks Flex Play of the Day – 3/21/23 | World Baseball Classic, NBA, and NHL

Paolo Banchero Under 6.5 Rebounds

Banchero has consistently been garbing six rebounds a game, so this line is appropriately placed. However, playing against Washington today, Banchero will struggle to top 6. The forward has six or fewer boards in six of his last ten games.

What will make things challenging for Banchero tonight is having Kristaps Porzingis in the paint. The 7’3 center has been playing exceptionally well recently and will dominate the rebounding game.

Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases

If you haven’t been watching the World Baseball Classic, you need to jump in tonight and watch the finals. It will be an instant classic as Team USA faces off against Japan, or more appropriately, Mike Trout faces off against Shohei Ohtani.

Ohtani is batting .450 in the tournament, and 1/5 of his at-bats have been double. So while Ohtani is likely to have two hits, he could easily pick up the two bases in his first at-bat with a two-bagger.

Masataka Yoshida Over 1.5 Total Bases

Yoshida is one of the two guys hitting better than Ohtani for team Japan. The outfielder has an average of .474 and has hit two dingers. Both of these guys will need to step up in such a big game. While both should cash, there is doubt at least one will. These are two easy legs to add to your play.

Auston Matthews + Alexander Ovechkin Over 9.5 Shots on Goal

This is a wild offering by PrizePicks. It’s not uncommon to see either of these guys put 7+ shots on goal in a game. While individually, each guy could practically cover the number by themselves, bettors have the insurance of the two of them combined.

Almost no one in the league fires more shots than these two guys, and with Ovechkin taking on the Blue Jackets, he could score three goals on nine shots.

Simply put, this is a fantastic play bettors need to be aware of tonight.
