PrizePick Picks – 11/3/22

We are blessed with another sports equinox thanks to a rain delay on Tuesday. So naturally, I have to give a pick for each sport.

Justin Verlander Over 5.5 Ks

After being no-hit last night, the Phillies will try to rebound tonight. They will likely face a few more hitless innings with Justin Verlander on the mound.

After pitching Game 1, a rested Verlander receives the call for Game 5; he had a Game 1 performance to forget, allowing five runs in five innings. Ultimately, his team lost in extra innings.

He’ll do better today and give his team a lead in the series as they head back to Houston.

Jalen Hurts Over 236.5 Passing Yards

While Houston battles Philly in the World Series, Philadelphia’s football team is in Houston to take on the Texans for Thursday Night Football. However, this game will be far less competitive.

The Eagles are trying to protect their perfect record, and facing the Texans that’s a relatively easy task. Houston has the eighth-worst pass defense in the league, and Hurts have been carving up secondaries all season long.

Hurts has thrown for 237+ yards in five of his seven games. He’s done more against better teams, so this should be an easy cash for bettors.

Paolo Banchero Over 7 Rebounds

The Magic welcome the Warriors to Orlando, as Golden State is still searching for their first road win.

Paolo Banchero has been fantastic to open the season, scoring 15+ in every game. His rebounds have ranged from 3 to 12. However, with the number of shots that should be put up tonight, Banchero should be able to clean seven or more boards. Bettors can exepct a doulbe double from Banchero tonight.

Nikita Kucherov Under 1 Point

Carolina is continuing their domination of the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes are in Tampa Bay tonight to take on a struggling Lightning team.

The Hurricanes’ defense has been strong, dominating everyone they have faced. With the exception of Edmonton, no team has scored more than three on this team. So even if Kucherov picks up one point, there is no way he notches two.

Tampa Bay has been heating up as they have won three in a row, but the Hurricanes are bringing rain and should put on that fire as they pick up another win.
