Colorado Avalanche @ Carolina Hurricanes
The Avalanche head to the Tar Heel State to take on the Hurricanes. The Maple Leafs and the Islanders are the only teams that have been able to beat Carolina at home this season, and the Avalanche will try to become the third.
Carolina will be trying to exact their revenge after losing to Colorado 4-1 five days ago.
1-3 goal tender Pavel Francouz will be between the pipes for Colorado tonight. The Avalanche allow over 33 shots on goal a game, and the Hurricanes are one of the best at putting shots on net, with 36 a game. Francouz has his work cut out for him tonight, as he could easily see 35 pucks come his way in this one.
Pavel Francouz Over 29.5 Saves
With Carolina blasting shots, Cale Makar is sure to do his thing and get in the way of a few biscuits. However, he is only averaging 1.7 blocks this year, and with the line sitting at 2 and not 1.5, bettors should jump on this, as they are looking at a push at the worst.
Cale Makar Under 2.0 Blocks
This will be a fast pace game, and both teams will want the first goal to put pressure on their opponents. Seeing that both teams should have their back ups in net, a quick goal is likely in this one.
Over 0.5 Goals in the First Eight Minutes
Detroit Pistons @ LA Clippers
The Pistons kick off their west coast road trip with the LA Clippers.
The Pistons are on a four-game losing skid, and the Clippers are coming off a devastating two-point loss to Dallas and are looking to rebound.
Marvin Bagley III will be making his third start of the season, and a struggling Detroit team is thrilled to have him in the lineup.
Bagley has seen limited minutes, and Detroit is slowly working him back to full-time. So while his stats will increase with the minutes, LA plays at a much slower pace. So even with more minutes, Bagley’s stat line won’t see much of a jump.
Marvin Bagley III Under 22 Points + Rebounds + Assists
