PrizePick 4-Leg Flex Play of the Day: Olson, Taillon, Braves, Marlins and Natasha Howard

Digging into today’s PrizePicks offerings, here are the four best options for a Sunday Flex Play.

PrizePicks Play #1: Jameson Taillon Under 3.5 Pitcher Strikeouts

Jameson Taillon is making the start today for the Cubs against a Cleveland team that has a strikeout total that is second lowest in the majors.

Taillon K totals have been meager the season with a few standout performances; he also rarely pitches deep into games, so assuming the Indians bang him up early — which they shouldn’t have any trouble doing — he will not work the necessary innings to land four strikeouts.

#2: Matt Olson Over 1.5 Bases

Running with ole faithful on this one. Olson continues to slug as the Braves continue to dominate. This is a team that has no interest in the All-Star Break, as they want to avoid cooling off. Atlanta has won seven in a row and fifteen of their last 16. This team is running away with the National League, and no one is stopping them.

Olson has been at the head of this campaign, mashing 28 home runs. Most of Olson’s hits are for extra bases, so he’s hit this prop in seven of his last ten games. It’s an easy play for this Sunday slate.

PrizePicks Play #3: Spencer Strider + Sandy Alcantara Over 0.5 First Inning Runs Allowed

Neither pitcher in this one has been pitching like they were in 2022. Both have been sloppy and one, if not both, will be heavily scored on today.

The Braves own the Marlins, they’ve won eight of their last ten against the Fish, but worse than that, Atlanta has outscored them 86 – 38.

Both staters are coming off solid outings, but considering neither has displayed any consistency this season, it’s fair to expect some first-inning fireworks.

#4:Natasha Howard Over 17.5 Points

Switching over to the WNBA for this final PrizePicks play, Natasha Howard has been ballin’ out for the Dallas Wings.

Howard had a slow start to the season, but she has scored 19+ in four of her last five. Today she faces a mid-tier Washington squad that will have few answers for Howard’s play. The Wings suffered back-to-back losses to the Sparks, and they desperately need to pick up a win here to help them out in the standings.
