Battle of two disappointing teams in a must win with both at 2-3. A win could spring board that team to some momentum. A loss could really put a damper on the playoff hopes. The Patriots over achieved last season and perhaps are paying it back this year. Meanwhile the Browns just continue to show people they don’t know how to win. They could easily be 5-0 or 4-1 at worse but they continue to stab themselves in the back.

Injury news for the Pats with Mac Jones is crucial. If he can make it back it’s a huge plus. If not Bailey Zappe will be under center. Zappe has been decent at best in two games but has no fantasy worth. With Damien Harris out the load is on Rahmondre Stevenson. Coming off a great game against another porous run defense he will be getting plenty of opportunities. He should be popular and has a better chance at producing with Jones at QB. I feel playing at home against a bad run defense is much more advantageous verse on the road against one. The wideouts all depend on Jones playing. If he does then Jakobi Meyers is his man. With no Jomes I will be staying away from all Patriots including Stevenson.

Nick Chubb continues to impress. He has gone over 100 yds on the ground in four of five games. Chubb has also found the end zone 7 times. Against a team struggling to defend the run Chubb is once again in a great spot. One caution flag. He continues to find 25+ yard gains in every game which has been a huge boost to his run total. Jacoby Brissett has been consistent all season. The downside is his upside as he hasn’t topped 20 fantasy points in one game. On the other hand Amari Cooper has benefited from the consistent play of Brissett. Cooper has gone over 20+ fantasy points in three of the last four. Amari is also seeing double digit targets in those games. I don’t think the Pats put up enough points, unless Jones plays, to make both Cooper and Chubb excellent plays. I see one, likely Chubb, being the fantasy beneficiary.

Nick Chubb, Browns-$8,200 The price is on the rise which could keep people away. He continues to produce finding the holes for at least one big run every game. Chubb could easily go for 125+ and 2 trips to the end zone.

Browns, $3,500. If Jones is out I like this defense. I was on the Patriots last week and I see this as a similar situation for the Browns. If they force Zappe to throw they could find the end zone and a couple turnovers. If all comes together they have high teen to 20 upside.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots-$6,000 Sentence. . . If Jones is out I am out here. If he plays I really like Rhamondre. Jones can mix the pass in much better and keep the defense honest. This should open up opportunities against a weak run defense.
