MATCHUP SUMMARY

This is a matchup of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Packers are battling for #1 seed in the NFC. This could be a game we’re they come in over looking the decimated Ravens. On paper they should roll over a team that is hurt in the secondary and won’t have Lamar Jackson.

I would expect the Packers to attack the weak Ravens secondary early and often. Aaron Rodgers should have his way but does he have huge upside due to the potential blowout. Another factor is both of these teams do a solid job managing the clock and tend to have long drives. In the backfield I would expect Arron Jones and AJ Dillon to continue to split time. The price for Davante Adams will be tough to pay unless you feel he is the main beneficiary and Rodgers targets him heavily. I like the game on paper for the Packers, just not sure if it’s a spot we’re they maximize upside.

In two games playing for Jackson, Tyler Huntley has played respectable. He molds his game similar to Jackson which helps the team make the transitions easier. This should be his toughest game as the Packers secondary continues to improve weekly. He should get plenty of opportunities to shine though playing from behind. Mark Andrews has seen 21 targets in the two games Huntley has played. Andrews is a solid play as Huntley is more proficient with the short pass verse the mid and long. The latter is a detriment for Marquise Brown who was targeted 8 times last week. Brown is definitely the pivot between the two and his price continues to decrease.

Keep an eye on news for Lamar Jackson but I feel he won’t be playing. If he does then how efficient will he be is the number one question. I am starting to like the Packers more and more as I write this, whether Jackson plays or not.

THE DFS GEMS

Aaron Rodgers, Packers- $7,500. If you feel the Ravens can keep this game somewhat close, definitely possible, especially if Jackson somehow plays then Rodgers is in a great spot.

Davante Adams, Packers- $8,900. He is the one to pair with Rodgers going for 20+ in his last three with two over 30+.

Mark Andrews, Ravens- $6,400. The numbers above speak for themselves. If the Ravens keep the game close he will play a huge piece of this.
