YTD (143-144-2)
San Jose Sharks (+185) @ Florida Panthers (-215)
No Barkov for Florida should be no problem. Florida, especially their second line, has been on an absolute mission lately, averaging almost 5 goals a game. I expect them to come out flying against the Sharks tonight and take an early lead.
In 4 of their last 5 meetings the Panthers have gone into the first intermission with at least a 1 goal advantage on the Sharks. I see that trend continuing tonight as San Jose allows just under 4 goals a game. Florida is playing excellent hockey as of late and should come out buzzing to start tonights game.
Florida Panthers First Period -.5 (+120)
Seattle Kraken (+115) @ New Jersey Devils (-135)
Seattle may be on the road but they’re in a fantastic position to bounce back after being shut out the other night. They head to Jersey to take on a Jack Hughes-less Devils team. Hughes is a stud and is the driving force behind the Devils success, without him in the line up I expect the Devils play a little less aggressive. They have other skilled players like Hischier and Hamilton but Hughes is hands down the best player on the team.
Another major reason is Mackenzie Blackwood is likely getting the start tonight for the Devils. He is allowing over 3 goals a game and averaging a .894 SV%. The Devils will have their hands full tonight hosting a Kraken team that can send wave after wave of capable lines.
Seattle Kraken Money Line (+115)
Vancouver Canucks (+185) @ New York Islanders (-215)
We knew it would happen but we just didn’t expect it to happen so soon. We have a huge revenge game narrative tonight. Former Canucks captain Bo Horvat will see his old team tonight and you’re crazy if you don’t think he’s taking 10+ shots tonight.
I think the Isles will do everything in their power to set Horvat up for a goal tonight and at +152 on Fan Duel I can’t pass that up. I’ll absolutely be sprinkling a little bit on Horvat to score 2+ goals as I think he’ll be the one to score in an empty net situation. That prop is paying +760 and I love it.
Vancouver stinks on defense, we know that, so I think Horvat is going to stick it to his old team after all the shenanigans that went on as he was leaving. I think every prop is on the table tonight for him as he’s going to be shooting every chance he gets.
