YTD (55-57-2)

Hope all those that celebrate had a nice Thanksgiving. Wednesday night was a weird night, as the Devils had 3 goals recalled for one reason or another. Murray save prop hit to somewhat level that shit show of a game. CBJ and Montreal had a very high scoring 3rd period but it was too little too late for the over. A nice slate tonight to enjoy even with the Avs/Preds game being cancelled due to arena flooding. As always check the discord periodically as I may throw out a goalie prop if I find one.

Arizona Coyotes (+170) @ Detroit Red Wings (-200)

Arizona continues their road trip tonight in Detroit, where they face the Red Wings in their 9th straight road game. This deep into a road trip the Yotes have to be feeling it. They’ve been playing well but Detroit has been hot, 6-2-2 in their last 10. A major factor is Ville Husso in net for the Wings, he’s saved 92% of shots faced and Arizona comes into this game generating the lowest amount of shots on the road in the entire league at 25. Arizona special teams have been pretty good, ranking 8th in each, but they can’t rely on that to win them every game. All things point to a Detroit win tonight.

NY Islanders (-190) @ Columbus Blue Jackets (+160)

The Islanders are hot right now, mainly a cause of Ilya Sorokin putting up some insane goaltending numbers. He’s a wall in net. His stats so far this year are better than Igors were during his Vezina run last season, including a 49 save shutout against the high flying Oilers. Unless the Islanders pull the rug on us again, he should be the starter tonight as they head to Columbus to take on a beat up Blue Jackets team. Columbus is missing a ton of players on both offense and defense. Given how Sorokin and the Islanders have been playing I really like them in this match up. I think you can take them -1.5 for better value but I have no issues with just a regulation win.

LA Kings (-145) @ San Jose Sharks (+125)

I want to start this by saying this is much more a feeling than a by the numbers pick. I’m on the Timo train, he and the other Sharks big dogs have been on fire lately and, as I’ve said, I think the Kings goaltending is trash. San Jose has been great defensively, with the top PK in the league. They’re goalie tonight, James Reimer, has solid stats despite a losing record. He’s been good for them, and being in their home barn I like the Sharks to take home the dub.
