YTD (47-43-2)

Bad beat on Saturday, watching the Leafs and Canucks score 5 goals in the first half of the game only for the scoring to stop after that point. Terrible to watch. The Hawks came in clutch with an ugly goal to take the late lead there. I had a busy weekend and didn’t have a lot of times to look at lines so I took Sunday off.

Not a great night tonight as far as lines are concerned, with a few very heavy favorites. Regardless I found a few lines from one game I do like so let’s get into it.

St. Louis Blues (+165) @ Colorado Avalanche (-195)

The Blues finally kicked their losing streak, but they still suck. They head into the lions den tonight to take on the Avalanche, in what should be a fairly lopsided game. Colorado is still elite in evert facet of the game. While they’ve suffered a few injuries on their back end, they still have most of their big dogs in the line up. They’re a very difficult team to skate with for 6 minutes. They rank 3rd and 7th in goals for and GAA while the Blues are bottom 3 in each.

St. Louis has talent and this poor play is honestly strange to me. I think they turn it around at some point but from what I’ve seen that time isn’t now. Since the Blues suck at scoring right now the over has slid down to 6, and with the way Colorado can pour it on I love that number. It wouldn’t shock me to see Colorado put that number up themselves. The Blues don’t take many penalties which may limit the Avs elite Power Play, but they generally make the most of the chances they do get. Colorado should win handedly tonight.

Colorado Avalanche to Win in Regulation (-135)
Over 6 Total Goals Scored (-115)
Nate MacKinnon to Score (+120)
