YTD (28-33-2)

Ending October on a nice note with a 66% win rate last night. The Blues officially stink, they played absolutely 0 defense and left Binnington out to dry all night. November is here and we have a massive slate of games scheduled to kick off the new month.

Vegas Golden Knights (-155) @ Washington Capitals (+135)

The Caps host the Knights tonight after a tough OT loss in Raleigh last night. This will be a tough match for them as Vegas has been on a roll to begin the season, a major part of that is goalie Logan Thompson, with a 1.69 GAA and .943 SV%. He’s making a good case for the Vezina right now as well as the Calder. The Capitals are still very thin all throughout their line up, home ice or not I expect them to struggle a bit against a Vegas team that simply doesn’t allow goals, at 1.7 a game. Although it’s not confirmed who will be in net for Washington, I imagine it’ll be Charlie Lindgren given that Kuemper played last night. He hasn’t been great so far, averaging over 3 goals against. Washington is in a tough position tonight and I expect Vegas to handle themselves well.

Vegas Golden Knights to Win in Regulation (+100)

Philadelphia Flyers (+225) @ New York Rangers (-265)

Philly has been tough to play against, they make you work for the win. If this was in Philly I would 100% consider them with a payout that is anything close to this one. Being in New York is a different story, I don’t see them winning this match up. What I do see is Carter Hart making a ton of saves. The Flyers are 3rd worst in the league for shots against at over 35 per game, while the Rangers are 5th for shots for, at 36 a game. Carter Hart has been a machine so far this year, putting up a .938 SV%. While I can’t say he won’t be scored on, he should see a ton of volume tonight and with the way he has been playing this should be no big deal for him.

Carter Hart Over 29.5 Saves (-125)

NJ Devils (-115) @ Vancouver Canucks (-105)

After an 0-5-2 start the Canucks find themselves on a 2 game win streak. Tonight they face a Devils team that has been shooting at will, outshooting their opponents by almost 20 shots on average. They lead the league in both shots for and shots against, with 39 and 21 per game. Vancouver has been better the past few games and Quinn Hughes will be back on the point for them tonight so I wouldn’t be shocked to see them pull off the win. The line I like the most for this match up is Thatcher Demkos saves. He’s not the same caliber goalie as Hart but Demko is no slouch. he can put the team on his back if need be. He should see a ton of volume in tonights game. The Devils have had over 37 shots in each of their 3 away games while the Canucks have allowed 35 and 39 shots in their previous 2 home games.

Thatcher Demko Over 30.5 Saves (-125)

Anaheim Ducks (+105) @ San Jose Sharks (-125)

Outside of playing each other neither of these teams really excite me. Tonight on the other hand I like the Sharks, the Ducks give up a lot of shots and have questionable goaltending. Expected Ducks goalie, John Gibson, has given up no less than 3 goals in each of his starts. The Ducks special teams will basically be nonexistent tonight as they’re the 31st PP going against the 3rd PK. That won’t be helped by the news that defenseman Jamie Drysdale is likely done for the year. San Jose hasn’t been great but they have had some very competitive games with a few of the better teams in the league.

San Jose Sharks -1.5 (+165)
