YTD (115-114-2)

What an absolute let down from the Sabres last night. I could see them losing but I certainly didn’t have them being shut out on my bingo card. The Kraken came through to help ease the pain at least. They face tonight in what should be a great game. We have a massive slate as usual for a Tuesday.

Being such a big slate I only put my favorites into the articles, for a full slate break down come on over to the RPS YouTube Channel Tuesday and Thursday at 3pm, and Saturdays at 9am EST. We cover all things hockey for both betting and Daily Fantasy so there is something for everyone.

 Seattle Kraken (-105) @ Buffalo Sabres (-115)

After being such a huge let down last night I expect Buffalo to come out absolutely buzzing. Both teams are on a back to back, but given that the Sabres are playing both games at home, the First period puck line and over 1.5 goals props I always mention are on the table for Buffalo.

That being said I expect this to be an absolute shoot out as both teams are the top scorers as of late, averaging 5.3 goals a game. Every single metric shouts that this should be a barn burner. The expected starting goalies tonight have a combined 3.55 GAA and .884 SV%, which should only add to the number of goals I expect tonight.

This is also one of the best spots for the Sabres power play that you could ask for as the Kraken allow goals on 30% of penalties and the Sabres are scoring at over 40%. This is a great spot for the Sabres to bounce back, but an even better spot for goals.

Over 6.5 Total Goals Scored (-125)

Winnipeg Jets (-135) @ Detroit Red Wings (+115)

After shoving 7 goals down the Canucks throat they head to Detroit where I expect a similar result. I don’t quite see 7 goals but this should be a solid win for them. Detroit is allowing 4 goals a game on home ice, with how the Jets have been clicking lately that could prove to be a major issue for them.

As mentioned for the Sabres, the PP will be a huge factor for the Jets to win tonight. Scoring on 33% of chances, the Jets power play should be able to exploit a Detroit penalty kill that is stopping just 60%. Factoring in that Detroit takes an average of 3 penalties a game, the Jets top players could have a field day out there.

Detroit is solid defensively, only allowing 27 shots against, but the Jets have some of the best depth in the league. Using Larkin to shut down the top line will only open up another of the Jets lines to light the lamp.

Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (+175)
Ville Husso Over 2.5 Goals Against (-140)

San Jose Sharks (-140) @ Arizona Coyotes (+120)

Arizona is plus money at home, that’s all I should have to say. Even better, they’re plus money against a Sharks team that’s allowing almost 4 goals against on the road. As I always point out, Vejmelka can stand on his head and win games, he’s done it quite a few times.

You know this is my favorite home dog to play.

Arizona Coyotes Money Line (+120)
