After handling Arizona, the Flames head south to Nevada to take on the red-hot Golden Knights.

Vegas returned from break with a five-game winning streak, but the lowly Blackhawks halted their run on Tuesday. It was a nail-biter, and after a last-second goal by Patrick Kane was called off at the end of overtime, it went to a shutout. Laurent Brossoit, a recent call-up from the Silver Knights, couldn’t stand firm in net and gave Chicago the win.

Losing to the Blackhawks is embarrassing this season, so Vegas will look to bounce back strong tonight.

The Golden Knights struggled at home early in the season, playing .500 hockey at T-Mobile Arena, but they have settled in nicely, finding their groove in the desert.

Playing a Calgary squad that has been extremely disappointing and overvalued this season, they should easily take this game.

The Vegas squad is so deep it can be hard to predict where the production will come from, but one guy who continues to dominate is Shea Theodore. Theodore has recorded eight points in his last six games, and his prop has not been adjusted accordingly. This is another solid play for bettors.

Nashville @ San Jose

Nashville is on the third leg of their four-game road trip; they are 2-1 to this point and are coming off a shootout win against the Canucks. While San Jose is usually a walkover team, they are coming off a crazy performance against Seattle. The Sharks shut out the Kraken 4-0.

The Sharks were on a three-game losing skid prior to that game against Seattle, so bettors should view that game as a broken clock situation.

San Jose will be without Meier and Hertl today, so Erik Karlsson and Logan Couture will be expected to produce the offense for this team. If that is all Nashville has to worry about they should be fine.
