The Chargers finally were able to get Austin Ekeler going last week. Ekeler carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ekeler also added in 6 catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. Justin Herbert looked much better and healthier this week. Herbert completed 27 of 39 passes for 340 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mike Williams was his main target catching 7 of 11 targets for 120 yards. The tight end Gerald Everett totaled 6 catches for 61 yards and found the box. Josh Palmer busted only catching 1 pass for 25 yards. Sony Michel saw 6 carries and 3 catches in the passing game.

The Browns lost a close one to the Falcons last week 20-23. Brissett struggled to get anything going and finished with a QBR of 68. David Njoku led the team in receiving catching 5 passes for 73 yards. Amari Cooper was the big bust only catching 1 pass for 9 yards. This was off back-to-back 7+ catch 100-yard performances. Cooper is in a nice bounce-back spot here as the Charger’s defense is banged up and has bleed fantasy points to opposing teams. Nick Chubb rushed for over 100-yards for the 2nd straight game and 3rd of 4 games to open the season. 118 yards off 19 carries for Chubb as he found the box once as well. Kareem Hunt caught 2 passes and carried the ball 10 times for 49 yards. Donovan Peoples-Jones recorded the most targets with 9, catching 5 for 71 yards.

There are some possibilities for this game shooting out Sunday. The Charger’s defense has given up 34+ points to opposing RBs in the last 2 games and the Jaguars WR position totaled nearly 60 points vs them. The Browns are yet to face a high-powered offense like the one the Chargers possess only facing the Falcons, Steelers, Jets, and Panthers to open the season. We need to watch the status of Keenan Allen this week and if he is unable to go again, we should see Mike Williams and Austin Ekeler be featured again. DeAndre Carter out-snapped Josh Palmer last week 49-39, which is noteworthy.

Nick Chubb, CLE – $8,000 on DraftKings. Chubb is averaging over 100 yards rushing per game this season and should once again see around 20 carries. 20+ DK points in his last 3 games and always comes in under-owned.

Austin Ekeler, LAC – $7,800 on DraftKings. Ekeler should see around 15 carries on the ground, but the pass game work is what we want. Ekeler has caught 23 passes in his last 3 games. I think this is another great spot for him to score 25+ points.

Amari Cooper, CLE – $6,000 on DraftKings. Cooper busted for me and others last week, but I am fine going right back to him here. This Chargers defense is banged up and I think the targets come back this week after seeing double-digit the 2 games prior and totaling 100+ yards in each game.
