MATCHUP SUMMARY
Such a BLAH game here. It has the lowest total on the slate at a measly 40. I wont be using any QB in this ugly game. Davis Mills was kind of a fantasy darling last season, but he hasn’t had the same success this season. The lack of weapons for him doesn’t help. After getting out snapped 50-20 in week 1, Dameon Pierce out snapped Rex Burkhead 39-23 and had 16 touches compared to Burkhead’s 2. The Chicago D has given up the 9th most FP to the RB position over the first 2 weeks. In what will be a slow paced low scoring game, I don’t hate taking a shot on Pierce at only 5K in tournaments.
Brandin Cooks is the only fantasy relevant pass catcher in this offense as he has a massive 29% target share through the first 2 weeks. He is averaging 11 targets per game and at 5800 is a bit too cheap for the volume he is seeing.
This is the perfect matchup for Justin Fields to shine. Unfortunately, he has looked really bad the first 2 weeks of the season. With the low total, I wont be going to him this week and wont until he shows me something. He has the lowest pass attempts in the league through the first 2 weeks. This is the perfect SMASH spot for David Montgomery. Through the first 2 weeks, he has a impressive 72% snap percentage. The Texans have been gashed on the ground so far and it could be a huge day for Monty here.
With the Bears having the fewest pass attempts in the NFL through 2 weeks, the WR and TE group from this team is an easy X button this week.
Will be focusing on both RBs from this game as well as both defenses in what should be a lower scoring game.

DAVID MONTGOMERY, CHI – $5,900 on DraftKings. Too cheap in this matchup at home against the Texans. Multi TD upside here.
BRANDON COOKS, HOU – $5,800 on DraftKings. Too cheap for the 11 targets per game he is getting.
