MATCHUP SUMMARY

The visiting Jets won’t have anything to play for while on the opposite side, Miami will be going all out for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Let’s dive in to find some DFS Gems!

Despite nothing to play for, NYJ still has youthful players that they want to get a look at. Because of this, you can definitely consider rostering a guy like Mike White (5.3K) and his cheap weapons. Garrett Wilson (5.8K) is obviously at the top of the list and will come with ownership, but there is no denying the upside he can bring to you at that price tag. Corey Davis (3.5K) and Elijah Moore (3.4K) are even cheaper and should be in consideration as well. If having to pick from the NYJ TE group, I’ll always side Tyler Conklin (3.6K) over C.J. Uzomah (2.5K). I’ll avoid the RBBC of Zonovan Knight (5.1K), Michael Carter (4.6K), and Ty Johnson (4K). Ty Johnson did play 47% of snaps last week compared to Carter’s 29% and Knight’s 21%, so that is something to keep in mind.

On the opposite side for MIA, they will be going all out for a win with Skylar Thompson (4.8K) behind center. I don’t have much faith in Thompson against a stout NYJ defense so I likely won’t be prioritizing his passing corps which is led by Tyreke Hill (8.6K) and Jaylen Waddle (7.3K). Trent Sherfield (3.2K) and Mike Gesicki (3.4K) are underweight positions I’ll be taking as well. Raheem Mostert (6K) and Jeff Wilson (5.5K) continue to work in a split backfield so that is something I’d like to avoid as always. Essentially, a lot more interest on the NYJ side than the MIA side for DFS purposes. However, MIA pieces such as Hill and Waddle can be considered for tournaments.

THE DFS GEMS

Tyreek Hill, MIA – $8,600 on DraftKings. Despite Thompson being under center, I’ll treat this situation like Stidham and Davante Adams last week. Bank on the talent of the alpha WR1 and the coaching staff to scheme up touches which could lead to a low owned explosion.

Garrett Wilson, NYJ – $5,800 on DraftKings. Coming off of 2 stinker performances, I still have faith in Wilson as Mike White’s WR1. Ownership will follow, but maybe it won’t be to the extremes as it would if he had been going off as chalk in previous weeks.

Mike White, NYJ – $5,300 on DraftKings. Coming off of a bad week returning from injury but he did attempt 46 passes. 100% willing to fire up Mike White again at low ownership.
