MATCHUP SUMMARY
Pristine matchup here for Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs. The Chiefs are one of the most past happy teams in the NFL regardless of the spread. I would expect Mahomes to get his usual 20+ here and he provides an excellent floor in cash. I also like him in tournaments as people will likely be loading up on the RBs here with the massive spread. McKinnon is coming off a massive 35 DK point performance and I hope people chase that at only 5200. I much prefer Pacheco in this spot against the leagues worst rushing defense.
The only 2 reliable pass catchers for the Chiefs has been Travis Kelce and Juju Smith-Schuster. Kelce leads the team with a 24% target share followed by Juju with a 16% target share. The other pass catchers would simply be MME dart throws, and I’m not thrilled with them at all here.
The Texans offense is just straight up TRASH. They will be deploying a 2 QB system this week splitting between Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel. DONT PLAY THEM. Dameon Pierce has a high ankle sprain and is doubtful for this game. This backfield will be led by Dare Ogunbowale and Rex Burkhead. YUK. I don’t hate taking a couple shots on Burkhead at his 4600 price tag as they will be behind and he could see some dump offs.
Both Brandon Cooks and Nico Collins have yet to practice this week and both missed last week. I will once again be looking to Chris Moore at only 4200 for a great value option this week. No other pass catchers are really relevant.
THE DFS GEMS
PAT MAHOMES, KC – $8,100 on DraftKings. Massive Floor and ceiling every week.
ISAIAH PACHECO, KC – $5,900 on DraftKings. Perfect game script for him this week.
CHRIS MOORE, HOU – $4,200 on DraftKings. If Cooks and Collins are out he should see a massive target share.
