MATCHUP SUMMARY
Featuring the highest total of the week on the main slate, the Vikings will visit Detroit as a surprising underdog. Either way, this game features a ton of plays from both sides and will be the premiere game stack spot of the entire slate. Lets dive in!
On the MIN side, they are obviously lead by Kirk Cousins (6.1K) who has not looked that great as of late. A matchup against a soft Detroit defense can surely turn this around though as we’ve seen this with numerous QBs this season. Dalvin Cook (7.3K) has not had a ceiling performance in quite some time either, but his touches have been over 20 the last 2 weeks. As of this moment, Cook looks to be the leverage off of the passing game of Justin Jefferson (9K), Adam Thielen (4.k), K.J. Osborn (3.5K) and T.J. Hockenson (5.1K), however, they all look to becoming with double digit ownership.
On the opposite side for DET, Jared Goff (5.6K) found himself on many optimal lineups last week and the same could very well happen again this week. It is clear the head of DET offense is led by Amon-Ra St. Brown (7.8K), but D’Andre Swift (5.8K) looks to be getting more work as he is coming off of an 18 touch performance last week for 21.2 FPTs. There is always risk of Jamaal Williams (5.9K) vulturing goal line touches as always, but Swift’s role does look very promising as of late. Behind ASB is a value filled receiver core of DJ Chark (4.3K) and Josh Reynolds (3.4K). I will definitely have a ton of exposure to this game in primary and secondary stacks.
THE DFS GEMS
Justin Jefferson, MIN – $9,000 on DraftKings. Arguably has the highest ceiling of any receiver on the slate and it’s not even close. Explosion spot on the way for JJettas.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET – $7,800 on DraftKings. Coming off back to back 30+ FPT performances, ASB should have all the opportunity to continue to eat against the MIN secondary.
D’Andre Swift, DET – $5,800 on DraftKings. Fresh off of 18 touches last week, Swift looked like the RB people were expecting when they drafted him early in season long leagues. I’ll buy early at the discount.
