MATCHUP SUMMARY

Jacksonville comes in off a late victory over the Ravens last week where they scored with 18 seconds left and converted a 2-point conversion for the 1-point win. Trevor Lawrence enters this plus matchup vs this bad Lions defense off 3 of his best games completing an average of 77% of his passes over these 3 games. Last week he completed 29 of 37 passes for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 7-9 on the final drive and has immense confidence entering this dome game vs the Lions. Travis Etienne went down early, but Jamycal Hasty filled in just fine totaling 95 total yards and one touchdown. Zay Jones led the team in targets, catches, and yards going for 11-145. Marvin Jones caught the game-winning catch ending with 3 catches for 22 yards. Christian Kirk was only able to catch 4 of 9 targets for 46 yards. Jamal Agnew caught all 5 targets for 37 yards and a touchdown.

The Detroit Lions come off a near loss to Buffalo on Thanksgiving 28-25. Jamaal Williams was able to find the endzone for the 3rd straight week. Williams carried the ball 18 times for 66 yards and the touchdown while adding in 3 catches for 23 yards in the passing game. Amon-Ra St. Brown led the team in targets, catches, and yards to no surprise. St. Brown hauled in 9 of 10 targets for 122 yards and one touchdown. DJ Chark’s snaps increased as expected, playing 52 of 71 snaps, and was able to catch a pair of passes finding the endzone once. Kalif Raymond added in 4 catches for 35 yards. D’Andre Swift continues to play limited snaps as he only played on 24 of 71 snaps. He was active while in though rushing 5 times for 19 yards and catching 4 of 8 targets for 24 yards. I would continue to proceed with caution with Swift until we see the snaps and workload increase.

This is my favorite game to stack up for the week. We have a total of 51.5 points, which has gone up 2 points since opening, and 2 bad pass defenses inside a dome. Detroit has been very good vs the rush as of late only allowing 12.5 points per game to the RB position while continuing to be a pass funnel. Lawrence is priced down at only 5.9K and both his pass catches are easily affordable. This double stack with Kirk/Jones will only cost you 17.1K and St. Brown makes for a very easy run back as most of the offense should continue to go through him. I think we should see this game come in a little lower owned than it should for a dome game as others will want to stack up the KC/CIN and LAC/LV games also.

THE DFS GEMS

Trevor Lawrence, JAX – $5,900 on DraftKings. T-Law is starting to heat up and it is a perfect time to enter this great spot.

Zay Jones, JAX – $4,900 on DraftKings. I like both main pass catchers in this spot, but I will highlight Jones here with the 1.4K price savings. He has double-digit targets in back-to-back games and is in search of a little positive TD regression.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET – $7,100 on DraftKings. The ‘Sun God’ remains underpriced yet again and is one of the most consistent pass catchers in the league and the offense should continue to flow through him in the passing game.
