MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Saints head outdoors to take on the surging 49ers in Santa Clara. The prices are down for the Saints across the board but the 49ers have been playing great defense and it’s usually best to avoid these Saints outdoors. None of them are on my radar this week.
The 49ers have looked unstoppable since the acquisition of Christian McCaffrey. Now healthy on defense as well, the 49ers have deployed a ball control offense that allows their superior skill position players to suffocate opponents. Deebo Samuel is Questionable but expected to play, but my favorite play on the San Francisco side is Christian McCaffrey. The Saints are difficult to run on but yield points in the middle of the field which sets up well for McCaffrey’s short passing game involvement.
