MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Eagles travel to Indianapolis on a short week to try and bounce back from their first loss of the season against the Commanders on Monday. I tend to think they will do so despite the re-insertion of Matt Ryan (5.2K) behind center for IND last week who lead them to a victory over LV.
Jonathan Taylor (7.8K) looked great in his return from injury carrying the ball 22 times for 147 yards total and a touchdown to boot. I love him here against a very suspect PHI run defense and is likely my favorite play from this game. Michael Pittman (6.1K) certainly has more of a ceiling with Matt Ryan at the helm as well as the other pass catchers such as Parris Campbell (4.3K), Alec Pierce (3.9K), Kylen Granson (2.9K), and Mo-Alie Cox (2.7K). I’ll definitely favor the run game here though from the IND side.
On the PHI side, Jalen Hurts (8.2K) has been a top 3 QB in regards to fantasy production all year. The danger of him vulturing goal line touches is always there so I tend to stay away from guys in the backfield such as Miles Sanders (6.9K), Kenneth Gainwell (5.2K), and Boston Scott (4.4K). A.J. Brown (8K) seems ridiculously high priced especially coming with some injury concerns, however, he always has immense upside and will come with no ownership. DeVonta Smith (6.2K) looks to receive a boost especially if Brown is limited in any way and lastly with Dallas Goedert (5.6K) on the IR, Jack Stoll (2.5K) and Grant Calcaterra (2.5K) will look to fill his void.
THE DFS GEMS
Jalen Hurts, PHI – $8,200 on DraftKings. Has one of the highest ceilings on the slate at the QB position and will likely get squeezed when it comes to ownership as he’s priced between Josh Allen and Justin Fields.
Jonathan Taylor, IND – $7,800 on DraftKings. Showed no signs of his past injury last week as he played on 94% of snaps and looked dominate, lets go right back to the well.
Parris Campbell, IND – $4,300 on DraftKings. Received 9 targets last week with Matt Ryan behind center and turned that into 7 receptions, 76 yards and a touchdown.
