The post Big Ben era is starting in Steeler nation and I am not so sure it’s going to begin well. The qb situation is sketchy at best. It could be a few tough years for the terrible towels. For the Bengals it was a dream season. The hype increased on a weekly basis. The majority of the plays and breaks went there way. On paper the team wasn’t the best but they made plays when needed. The defense stepped up when called upon. The second time around is always more difficult as the expectations will remain high.

Mitch Trubisky is qb1 hoping to get a second chance on a once promising prospect. Mitch wasn’t surrounded with the best in Chicago and what he has in Pittsburg might be slightly better. Consistency has always been his issue. Najee Harris will be called upon to lighten the load on Trubisky. Expect Harris to get plenty of touches. Will he capitalize is the question. Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool and rookie George Pickens provide Trubisky with upside at the wideout spot. Keep the ears open on Johnson week one as he is questionable. Expect Trubisky to be airing the ball out in what should be a come from behind game flow for the Steelers.

The Bengals handled the Steelers last year twice relatively easy. This game should be no different. The high powered offense could be a popular play come Sunday. Joe Burrow will have his full compliment of wideouts available. Tee Higgins, Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd will see the majority of targets. Choosing the correct one is the tough piece. Don’t sleep on Hayden Hurst who could step in and return to form of what he was when with the Falcons. With the Steelers secondary being solid this could be a week that Joe Mixon shines. Mixon torched the Steelers late last year while his other game was solid.

Joe Mixon, Bengals- $7,100  Joe should see a solid amount of attempts while the yardage will be dependent on a long run or two. Finding the end zone will ultimately determine his DFS fate. 100 yards and 2 Td’s is definitely possible.

Najee Harris, Steelers- $6,400 I like Harris as a pass catcher out of the backfield in this game. Playing from behind he should see a decent amount of targets. I could also see Najee finding the end zone once.

Hayden Hurst, Bengals- $3,300  I can see Burrow trying to get Hurst involved early this season. Doing this will make it more difficult for teams to game plan against them. I can see a game we’re Hurst gets 5 catches for 50 yards and trolls two touchdowns.
